Effective Date: 6/8/2026
These Terms of Service govern the use of Viobot, a Discord moderation and utility bot. By adding Viobot to a Discord server, configuring Viobot, using Viobot commands, purchasing or using Viobot Plus, participating in the Viobot beta program, or interacting with Viobot features, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use Viobot.
Viobot is a Discord bot designed to assist with server moderation, logging, reminders, tickets, aliases, role restoration, activity reports, premium features, beta features, and related server management tools.
Viobot is not created by, endorsed by, or affiliated with Discord Inc.
Viobot may only be used on Discord by users and servers that comply with Discord’s Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, Developer Terms, Developer Policy, Monetization Terms, Monetization Policy, and other applicable Discord rules.
You may not use Viobot to violate Discord’s rules, evade enforcement, harass users, spam, abuse Discord systems, or perform unlawful activity.
Server owners and authorized administrators are responsible for how Viobot is configured and used in their servers.
This includes responsibility for:
Viobot provides tools, but server staff are responsible for the decisions they make using those tools.
You may use Viobot for legitimate server management, moderation, safety, utility, reporting, and administrative purposes.
You may not use Viobot to:
Viobot, including its source code, bot name, documentation, configuration systems, database schemas, icons, images, website content, bot assets, and related materials, is owned by Viobot unless otherwise stated.
Using Viobot does not give users, servers, moderators, administrators, or server owners ownership of Viobot or permission to copy, modify, redistribute, resell, sublicense, host, or create derivative versions of Viobot or its assets.
Server owners and moderators remain responsible for content they create through Viobot, such as moderation reasons, aliases, ticket text, configuration text, and server-specific messages. However, Viobot itself and its underlying software remain owned by the bot operator.
No license is granted to use Viobot’s source code, private assets, documentation, or proprietary materials except with prior written permission from the copyright owner.
Viobot may provide moderation-related features such as warnings, mutes, bans, role changes, nickname changes, logging, tickets, papertrail records, moderation history, activity reports, and related tools.
Moderation actions taken through Viobot are performed by server staff or according to server configuration. Viobot is not responsible for the fairness, accuracy, or appropriateness of individual moderation decisions made by server staff.
Users who disagree with a moderation action should contact the relevant server’s staff team, unless the issue concerns Viobot itself.
Viobot may allow authorized users to create public aliases, private aliases, embeds, messages, ticket text, configuration text, moderation reasons, reports, or other user-created content.
Server staff are responsible for content they create or cause Viobot to send.
You may not use Viobot-created content to post illegal, abusive, deceptive, harmful, or Discord-prohibited material.
Viobot operators may remove, disable, or restrict aliases, reports, tickets, configurations, or other features if they are used abusively or in violation of these Terms.
Viobot may offer a beta program that allows selected servers to test new, experimental, limited, or unfinished features before they are generally available.
Beta access is optional and may be granted, changed, restricted, or removed at any time. Beta features may be incomplete, unstable, unavailable, inaccurate, rate-limited, or changed without prior notice.
Beta features may include, but are not limited to:
Participation in the beta program does not guarantee continued access to any feature. Beta features may later become free features, premium features, modified features, or discontinued features.
Viobot may offer optional paid features, including Viobot Plus. Premium features may include expanded limits, activity reports, advanced moderation tools, or other server-management tools.
Premium access may be provided through Discord Premium Apps, Discord entitlements, beta access, bot-owner access, promotional access, or another authorized access method.
Premium features are intended to enhance Viobot but are not required for basic server moderation unless otherwise stated. Feature availability, limits, pricing, and included benefits may change over time.
Viobot may check whether a server or user has access to premium features before allowing use of those features. If premium access cannot be verified, premium features may be unavailable.
If Viobot Plus or another premium feature is purchased through Discord, payment processing, billing, renewals, cancellations, refunds, taxes, and related payment issues are handled by Discord according to Discord’s own terms, policies, and purchase flow.
Viobot does not directly collect or store full payment card numbers, banking information, or Discord account credentials.
Access to premium features may begin, continue, or end based on Discord-provided subscription or entitlement information. If a payment fails, a subscription expires, a refund is issued, an entitlement is removed, or Discord reports that access is no longer valid, Viobot may restrict or remove access to premium features.
Except where required by law or handled by Discord’s policies, Viobot does not guarantee refunds, credits, compensation, or replacement access for downtime, removed features, configuration issues, server misuse, user error, or loss of access caused by Discord account, server, subscription, or entitlement changes.
Viobot may enforce different feature limits for free servers, beta servers, and premium servers.
Limits may apply to features such as aliases, activity reports, or other bot functionality.
If beta or premium access ends, Viobot may stop allowing new use of beta-only or premium-only features. Existing data created while beta or premium features were enabled may remain stored according to the Viobot Privacy Policy and applicable retention rules.
For example, if a server loses Viobot Plus access, the server may no longer be able to create additional premium-only resources, but existing moderation records, aliases, reports, or configuration data may not be automatically deleted.
Viobot’s collection and use of information is described in the Viobot Privacy Policy:
By using Viobot, you acknowledge that Viobot may process Discord-related information as described in the Privacy Policy.
Viobot is provided on an “as available” basis. Viobot may be unavailable, delayed, interrupted, disabled, modified, or discontinued at any time.
Features may be added, changed, limited, moved between free, beta, and premium access, or removed without prior notice.
No guarantee is made that Viobot will always function without errors or that all moderation, logging, reminder, ticket, alias, premium, beta, reporting, or role restoration features will always succeed.
Viobot is a server management and moderation tool. It does not provide legal, security, emergency, mental health, financial, tax, or professional advice.
Server owners and moderators are responsible for making their own decisions and seeking appropriate professional guidance when needed.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Viobot and its operator are not liable for damages, losses, disputes, moderation decisions, deleted messages, missing logs, failed reminders, failed role restoration, configuration errors, data loss, server disruption, failed premium checks, unavailable beta features, unavailable premium features, payment or entitlement issues handled by Discord, or user actions related to the use or inability to use Viobot.
Viobot is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
Access to Viobot may be limited, suspended, or terminated if a user or server violates these Terms, abuses Viobot, creates security risks, violates Discord rules, attempts to bypass premium restrictions, misuses beta features, or uses Viobot in a way that may harm users, servers, Discord, or Viobot.
Beta access may be removed at any time.
Premium access may be removed, restricted, or disabled if payment or entitlement access cannot be verified, if required by Discord, or if the feature is misused.
Server owners may remove Viobot from their server at any time through Discord’s normal bot management tools.
These Terms may be updated from time to time. Updates will be posted at the same location where these Terms are hosted.
Continued use of Viobot after changes are posted means the updated Terms apply.
